MILANO CORTINA 2026

The XIV Paralympic Winter Games MILANO CORTINA 2026 will be opened on March 6, 2026, at the Arena di Verona, with approximately 665 athletes competing in 79 medal events across six sports – Para Alpine Skiing, Para Biathlon, Para Cross-Country Skiing, Para Ice Hockey, Para Snowboarding, and Wheelchair Curling.

 

MILANO CORTINA 2026 marks the 50th anniversary since the first Paralympic Winter Games in 1976, and the Games return to Italy for the second time in history, 20 years after TURIN 2006.

The closing ceremony will take place on March 15, 2026, at the renovated Curling Stadium in Cortina, the former venue of the 1956 Winter Olympics.

Tickets have been on sale since March 6, with 89% of tickets costing less than €35.
